To say I am fascinated with hair would be an understatement. To me my career as a hairstylist has been a conscious choice of growth, determination, skill and passion.
My approach to hair is that it should never feel like it’s trying too hard. My dream is for your hair to reflect who you are as a person and that it should always be your best accessory. The many iterations of blonde (Golden... Strawberry... Lived-In!) have become my true color calling and I am proud to call myself a blonde specialist.
My endless curiosity and quest for knowledge has led me to the world of extensions. It’s amazing to me that I have the ability to enhance not only the shape and color of your hair, but the texture, length, and even the fullness of all types of hair. This love led me to the WBR method of extensions in 2016 and I am thrilled to say that as of 2021, I am currently a Master Educator with Waterfall Beaded Row.
A huge part of my learning and creative expression has come from being a member of Jon Reyman’s New York Fashion Week team since 2009. It even landed me at London Fashion Week in 2019, what a dream!
My experience does not end behind the chair, being surrounded by this constant creative energy has also led me to step outside my comfort zone and to pick up a camera. Seeing beauty from both sides of the lens is a truly special experience.
I am inspired everyday by the coworkers I surround myself with, the stylists I follow and am proud to call peers, and by the clients who sit in my chair. Who knows?! Maybe one day you will all end up in my very own publication as a part of my amazing career journey.
All this to say, I am most proud of my growth. I had a choice: I could either be a stylist behind the chair, or I could have the career I have always dreamed of.
